Sorry for the length of this one but, when I tried to make it shorter it just didn't work out. This one is just a few months after my last story. Enjoy. :)

A few months had past since Korra's date with Tahno. Mako did in fact propose to Asami and Korra was going to be her maid of honor and Bolin, the best man. That wasn't the only thing going on though, Bolin and Korra had been finding themselves lost in seemingly romantic situations.
For example...A few weeks ago, Lin had been teaching Korra a new Metal Bending technique and, like usual, Bolin was close by. Bolin had been demonstrating the move to Korra and sat himself high in the rafters when it was her turn to try. She started off great, shooting the metal wire exactly where it was meant to go but, when it came time to release that wire and shoot another one, she lost focused and found herself plummeting to the ground. Bolin, thinking fast, jumped off the rafter and caught her in mid-air. She held on to him tightly until they reached the ground.
It was the little things they started to notice in one and other, the things they might have in the past taken for granted but finally were showing through. It was things like when Bolin would bring home Narook's famous noodles for Korra when he knew she was feeling homesick or how Korra would wait by the weeping willow tree when Bolin needed to talk to his parents.
Their feelings were growing, there was no denying that but, a wedding was only a day away and it needed to be priority number one!

The glow of morning had just barely broke the horizon but Korra was up and moving. She showered quickly and threw some cloths on not even taking a moment to assess what her hair was doing. She grabbed her basket of things that would be needed to decorate the garden for the ceremony and headed quickly to the city. To Korra's surprise, Bolin was already there telling the caterers where to set everything for the reception.
"Hey." he said hugging her as she ran up to him.
"I didn't think you knew how to get up this early?" she teased.
"Very funny. Mako has been freaking out about everything really hard and I just want to make today go as smooth as can be."
"Good to know I have back up. I have to hang all this stuff in the garden and then meet with Asami at noon so I'm going to get to work!" she said rushing her way out of the huge reception room and into the garden.

Korra laid everything out in a nice, orderly manor. She had strands of little white lights to go around the tree's, lanterns to go on the end of ever row of chairs, ribbon to be wrapped around the gazebo, paper lanterns to be hung inside the gazebo, the long red runner that everyone would walk down, and the little pink rose peddles that would be tossed on top of the runner.
She decided to start with the tree's. She moved quickly, wrapping around the trunks and then earth bending herself up to the higher parts of the branches. When finished she plugged everything in, she tried to imagine it all lit up at night and how pretty it was going to look.
After hanging the lanterns came the ribbon. She worked her way to each of the white wooden beams and then remember Asami wanted the ribbon also hanging from the rafters inside. She pondered for a moment, she clearly was too short to reach on her own and there way no way she could earth bend because she would ruin the flooring, climbing was her only choice.
"Korra. No. Stop before you hurt yourself." Bolin said walking out into the garden.
He had caught her standing on a part of the railing trying to reach the nearest beam. "I am not going to, woahhh!" as she shifted herself to look at him and protest she started to fall. Bolin caught her in his arms and they both laughed.
"Please, let me help you." he asked her.
"Yeah, okay. That might be best. But, even you are too short to reach them." she pointed up at the beams.
"But both of us aren't." he smiled and kelt down. "Hop on."
He lifted her effortlessly on his shoulders and moved her from beam to beam.

When the gazebo was completely finished they took a few steps back and admired their work.
"Not bad. Not bad at all!" Bolin said patting Korra on the back.
"I'll say! I'm quite impressed!" Korra grinned at their work.
Some where off in the distance a clock tower chimed, "Crap! It's gotta be like two by now! I still have to get the dresses and get Asami to hair and make up and finish this!" Korra sounded frantic pressing her palms to her forehead.
"Tell me what else needs done and I can finish it for you." Bolin offered.
"How are you going to get yours and Mako's tuxes and have time to get ready and then great people?"
"I got them on my way here this morning, they are just waiting for us in a room upstairs."
"Smart!" and she started gathering her things, "Okay, I just need the runner set out and SOME not all of the peddles to be thrown on it. Be sure you have enough for the baby Mika to throw."
"You got it boss!" Bolin said saluting her.
She hugged him and kissed both his cheeks, "You're such a life saver! Thanks! See you later!" and she ran off back into town.

Lucky for Korra, the dresses were ready for her when she got there, she just had to pay the nice lady and meet with Asami a few streets away.
She was waiting for Korra outside of the solon, "Are those the dresses!? Can I see!?" she said as soon as Korra stopped walking. She unzipped the bag to show her, "Oh, they are so beautiful!" Asami cooed as she ran a hand down her dress.
"So how about that hair and make-up?" Korra asked.
"Right!" Asami said walking in the the solon. As soon as you walked through the door, you got blasted with the smell of hair spray and acetone filled their nostrils. Asami went right into getting her hair done seeing as she was the bride and her hair had to be absolutely perfect. Korra decided to start with nails; getting white tips with a red line underneath just like Asami asked of her and both her hands and feet. Next was make-up; the women turned her around so she wasn't able to see what she was going to look like. Korra felt brushes, lotions, creams, and gloss coating her face. When she was finally was turned around, her lips where a shimmering red, her skin was free of any and all blemishes and her eye's were framed my reds and golds with black liner.
Korra thanked the women and moved on to her hair, she noticed that Asami's finger nails had been done and they had started on her toes. She sat down in the stylist chair and started to relax. He 'hmmed' as he thought about what to do with her.
"How about a full up-do?" he asked her.
"What ever you think would be best." Korra answered.
His hands quickly went to work. Bobbie Pin's poked her head, and she swore he used a full can of hair spray making everything stay. Finally, he pushed like red hair pieces in that matched Asami's. She turned around to see that her hair was not centered on the back of her head like she thought but it was off more to the left side, she liked it better that way.
Asami was finished a few minutes before her, they stood to examine each other. Nails and make-up matched, the only big difference was that Asami's hair was only half up when Korra's was fully.

They were in a time crunch now, it was almost five o'clock and they had to be ready by six. Amazingly, they got back to the hall in about ten minutes. Korra waved to Bolin who was already fully dressed and helping people find their seats. She wanted to tell him how dashing he looked but there was no time for her right now. Korra looked around every corner before letting Asami fallow her, she wanted to make sure Mako wouldn't see her until the very moment she walked down the isle. It was the last turn before the dressing room and she caught him walking down the hall, fully dressed like his brother except for his jacket.
"Hey! You look amazing, Korra!" he said hugging her, "Have you seen my bride-to-be?" he asked
"I have. She's on the other side of this wall." Korra smiled.
"You aren't gonna let me see her, are you?"
"Nope! So if you don't mind turning around so we can get ourselves ready."
"Okay, okay." he said to her then calling over her shoulder, "I'll see you soon baby, I love you!"
"I love you too, sweetie!" Asami called back.
Once safely inside the dressing room, Korra made sure everything was to Asami's liking on the dress.  She pulled the back out so Asami could get a full view, "It is everything I could have wanted." she said and tears started to swell in her eye's.
"No, Asami." Korra said turning her away from the mirror and to face her, "Don't cry until the ceremony, please!"
"Okay, you're right!" she said pulling herself together.
"Now, why don't you go find Bolin and I will be down in just a few minutes."
"Sounds good." Asami said and left the room.
Korra pulled the knee length, one shoulder, red satin with gold trim dress onto her body. It hugged her in all the right places and she could not believe how pretty she looked. She pulled herself away from the mirror and grabbed her bouquet off the table and rushed down to meet everyone.

When Korra arrived she saw, Asami, Ikki with her younger sister Mika, and then Bolin with Pabu curled around his shoulders. Ikki and Mika were dressed in light pink and were going to be the flower girls, Pabu dressed in his own little tux was going to carry the rings in on his back. Pema rounded the corner.
"Is everyone here? Oh Asami, you look so beautiful!" she said hugging her.
"Thank you, Pema. And yes, we are all ready to go."
"Well, alrighty then. Remember Ikki and Mika walk down first with Pabu, then Korra and Bolin will walk down behind them, and Asami you will make your grand entrance." she instructed.
She left to take her place next to Tenzin and the music quickly started. Korra mouthed to Ikki and Mika to start walking. Korra wrapped her arm around Bolin, "You ready?" he asked her.
"I sure am." she smiled. They both started to walk out with one and other, "The tree's look wonderful." he whispered to her.
"Thank you. Check out our gazebo!" she said back.
"We're just awesome!" he said and patted her hand with his.
They broke a part and Korra stood on the empty side of the alter and Bolin next to his brother. Everyone stood to watch Asami walk in and she looked as beautiful as ever! The look on Mako's face was priceless and Korra only hoped that if she ever got the chance to do this, her husband would look at her that way too.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, Asami did tear up but then again, so did most of the girls there. The first kiss was simply magical and the reception was going along swimmingly. Korra spent most of the evening making sure all the guests were taken care of. She ran into Asami and Mako and gave her congratulations to the happy couple. Gave warm hugs to Tenzin and Pema along with their four kids.
Finally, Korra was given a break. Everyone seemed to be mingling or dancing and she took this time to have a drink and escape for a little while. She noticed no one was really out at the gazebo so she thought that would be the perfect place to go. Korra looked back at all the tree's that really did look amazing, the whole garden looked amazing.

"I thought at a wedding the bridesmaids weren't suppose to up stage the bride?" it was Bolin, wearing his usual fun loving smile.
Korra looked down at her outfit and wondered if that really was what people though, she would hate herself for it, "Wait, do people think that?" her voice was nervous.
He walked up to her, "I don't know about everyone, but I sure do."
"I don't want anyone to think that! This is suppose to be Asami's day and all eye's on her, not any--"
Bolin grabbed her around the waist, "Korra, that was just my really lame way of telling you I think you look amazing."
She looked down at her feet, "Oh, well, thank you. You look pretty great yourself."
For some reason, and Korra didn't really know who but, they started dancing. "Thank you." Bo told her looking down at her. Bolin could feel his pulse rising as he spun her around. She looked stunning, and in his eye's, way better than Asami. At one point durning their dance he dipped her low and watched as she smiled up to him, "This might be out of bounds," he started, "But, am very tempted to kiss you right now." he told her as he pulled her up.
"Would it be out of bounds if I told you I would be tempted to kiss you back?" she asked him. Maybe it was the few drinks in her that gave her the courage to say it but, it was finally out in the open.
"So, you wouldn't be mad if I did this?" Bolin leaded in and pecked her softly on the lips and quickly looked at her for a response.
"Nope. In fact, I'd really like it if you'd do that again." she watched his face light up as he kissed her again, this time longer and more passionate giving Korra enough time to kiss back. Bo lifted her up off the ground and spun her around. Korra broke away laughing and smiling. They heard clapping behind them and turned around, it was Mako and Asami. "It look you guys look enough." Mako said smiling at them. Bolin pulled Korra back into another kiss that neither of them want to break...
So we now have the Mako Asami wedding where I think it would be really cute if Korra and Bolin got together.
