Borra: A Start pt 4: The Lesson: BolinNow Bolin's side of things.- Bolin - I was laying on the roof of the arena, Korra's head still softly resting on my chest, and I was in the process of dreaming about her and the pro bending match. The first round went to the other team but you could tell our team wanted in more. After that first round, we all fought back 10 fold! Korra was dodging ever earth disc they threw at her, I was moving faster on my feet then I ever had before, and Mako was shooting flames harder and farther, I didn't even know he had that much power. We quickly put the other team in the pool and that was it we had won the Pro Bending Tournament! I ran over to Mak
Borra: A Start pt 4: Korra: The LessonTaking place where part three left off. This one is from Korra though.- Korra - I was woken up by a light rain falling on my face and I was so comfortable there with Bolin that a part of me just wanted to quickly bend an earth tent and go back to sleep, but I didn't think that would look to good onto of the arena. I looked down to Bolin who was fast asleep, his hair was a mess, he had a very soft snore that escaped his slightly parted lips which where slightly curved up into a smile. I didn't know what it had been about these last two days but I was constantly finding new little things to like about him and it seemed for each new thing
Borra: A Start pt 3: Butterflies- Bolin - "Actually." I told Korra as I stood up from the wall I had been sitting on, "Why don't you ask Tenzin if you could stay at the arena tonight because we have that early morning practice and I know how much you love those." I tried to play off what just happened between my brother and I and thinking about it he did say he more than likely would not be home. I had come up with the perfect dinner plans; make her a nice meal and we could eat out on the roof and look over the water. I had done it so many times before but not with her. "Okay, one thing at a time. What happened?" she asked again pointing to the marks on the ground and
Borra: A StartI am a very big supporter of Korra and Bolin so I need some place to express this and write my own little stories, this is why this page is here. This one is going to take place on the roof of Bolin and Mako's home right around sundown and coming from Bolins POV. He is telling it in a flashback mode. And I am sorry my past and present tenses I have never been good at.I was sitting up on the roof just looking out at the water thinking about all the things that had happened these past few weeks. My mind had been drifting a lot towards the Pro Bending match coming up and how winning it would really change everything for the better but, when
Borra: Truths and DaresOkay! This was a prompt given to me by an Anon on my Tumblr. Where ever you are Anon, I hope you enjoy this! I decided to make none of the characters in this story dating or have any relationships at the moment, seemed cleaner that way. So with that being said, enjoy! :) "I'm bored!" Ikki announced joining Korra and her friends on the floor. It had been pouring down rain all day and everyone had been couped up indoors. Normally they would go outside and play but with baby Rohan, Pema made it clear no one was to be outdoors unless totally necessary! She was not having anyone bring a illness into the home. "Well, what would Ikki like
Borra: Urges*MAKORRA SHIPPERS MIGHT WANT TO AVOID THIS*I wrote this for my friend ZeeZee who wanted to see Mako suffer for being the jerk he has been. She wanted Korra to realize that Bolin has been there all along for her and also for Asami to find someone who would treat her right. So this is what I have. It had been a little over a week since Amon had been uncovered but no one had seen him and a body had not been uncovered. For now they had to expect the worst but hope for the best. There had been no sign of him, no whispers or shadows in alley ways, everything seemed peaceful. Until they got back to the island. Korra had been thinking a lot a
Borra: Bolin's MemoryThis time it is Bolin's memory. The storm had hit and it had been much more powerful than people had predicted. Everyone at the Temple was instructed to stay inside unless told other wise. Everyone did as they were told. The kids played board games directed by Bolin, Mako made fires in all the rooms he could, Asami and Korra helped Pema with cooking and baking. They all kept busy and forgot about the raging snow storm that was almost trapping them inside the home. "Bolin, do you smell dumplings?" Ikki asked after she had rolled the dice. Bolin sniffed the air, he did smell dumplings along with other things, "Yes I do. That must mean d
Borra: The Line: Pt 5Okay here is the last part!! From Bolin's POV, starting off on the ride back to the Air Temple! Laughter filled the air as the three of them flew back to the Air Temple on Oogi. Toph was cracking jokes and I was doing my best to return them at her. Korra who once was leaning on the saddle was no flat on her back from laughing at us. It was great to see Korra just laugh, whole-hearted for once. I hadn't seen that in a long time. Our ride was coming to a close, we could see Republic City coming back to us and soon after the Air Temple. "Oh Spirits, NO!" Korra cried as we started to descend. She jumped off Oogi, air bent a landing, and ran
Borra: The Line: Pt 4So we are still at the air temple starting off exactly where part 3 left off again from the mind of Korra. I looked at Bolin with concern as my hands still danced over Lin's wound. Personally, I never got the chance to meet Toph but, the stories I would hear from Katara made her seem like one of the coolest people I could ever learn about. All I knew was that if she was captured, even in her old age, it would have taken a lot of people. Tenzin didn't speak a word the whole time we were out there, no one did. It wasn't until I deemed Lin well enough to be moved inside did anyone say or do anything. Tenzin picked her up in one fluid sweep and
Borra: The Line: Pt 3So this one is really long and I thought about breaking it up into two parts but in the end I really didn't want to. It starts off on the ferry ride back to the island and is in Korra's POV. It was far past lunch time and getting closer to dinner when the group of us started to head back air temple. We all seemed to be in a better mood. Asami was getting into the conversations, Mako was laughing for once, Bolin was crack jokes again, and I was finally relaxing. Dispite the recent events, today was going very well. On the ferry ride Asami explained her plans of my make over to the boys, "Korra, in make up?" Mako laughed, "This will be a si
Borra: The Line pt 2: Bolin Alright. So part two is going to be at the air temple and I am going to write it from both Korra and Bolin's POV's. And here we have Bolin. I was woken by a very hungry Pabu, flicking me in the head with his paw. "Buddy, come on. Can't it wait?" I said peeling my eye's open. He just cocked his head to the side. "Fine. Let's see what we can find." I said picking him up and heading to the kitchen. I pulled a plate down and made Pabu a nice salad of lettuce, apples and oranges. He happily munched as I carried him back to our room. I opened the door to my brother's and mine new room at the air temple and found him just waking up. "Di
Borra: The Rescue: Pt 3 Korra was now feet away from Tarrlok, he struggled but was unable to move at all. Both of her hands tensed and formed ice and earth shards which she then flung down at Tarrlok. Asami screamed and buried her face in Mako's chest, not wanting to see the out come. Just before the shards pierced Tarrlok, everything around them seemed to stop, time stood still. Korra lowered herself to the ground, dropping the shards and bent Tarrlok so he was now sitting up. As she walked closer to him, she could see all the fear and terror in his eye's; he was wishing more than anything he could take back his 'half baked Avatar' comment right about now. T
Borra: The Rescue: Pt 2Taking off from exactly where we left off. The guards clearly saw him; how could they miss him? Rocks were being pelted at Bolin and a few metal wires too. He used the rock he had been sliding on to defend himself by pulling it in front of his body. The force of the attack sent him sliding back a few paces but came no where close to knocking him off his feet. Once their attacks seemed to die down, Bolin broke the rock a part and sent it flying at his enemy. A few of them had been knocked off their feet and that was when Meg strikes. Her shirshu went to each of the men and licked them causing them to be paralyzed temporarily. She then pulled
Borra: The RescueStarting off in the jail, we find out just how far Bolin is willing to go to rescue Korra. This is part one of three. After all being locked up in the Republic City Jail until further notice, things had risen to their boiling point. Bolin sat on the stone cold floor with his head in his hands as he listened to Mako and Asami fight over Korra. It started with a sly comment, Mako simply asking how things were going with Korra and Tenzin bailing them out. All Asami seemed to hear was Korra's name coming out of Mako's mouth and that was all it took, she called him out on everything right then and there. "Did you know she liked you?" she aske
Borra: Stay: Pt 8 "I am so sorry! I didn't mean to do that. I just meant to kiss your cheek and I-I didn't know, I'm so sorry!" Korra sat right up next to Bolin and was spitting apologize all over the place, rocking the small hammock that her and Bolin laid in. "It's fine, Korra. You just need to stop wiggling before we--" they both hit the ground with a hard thud. Bolin flat on his stomach and Korra on top of him. "I'm sorry about this too!" she said pulling him up by an arm. Bolin was laughing about how clumsy they both were, "It's fine." he reassured her, "Are you alright?" "Am I all right? You just had 150 pounds plop on top of you and you ask m
Borra: Stay Pt: 7 Bolin sat out on the porch for a while, he leaned back in his chair, gazed up at the stars, and slowly finished his glass of water. His brother had given him the okay to go after the girl of his dreams, and for some reason, it didn't feel right. He knew why it did, and he thought he would be able to get over it with the snap of his fingers but something was off. He heard the glass door slide open from behind him and looked to see Korra. She had extreme bed head, her eye's were half open and she was all wrapped up in a blanket that she drug off the bed with her. Bolin still thought she looked amazing. "I have this horrible pounding in my
Borra: Stay: Pt 6This one is short everyone but, I needed to bridge the gap I am dealing with. Bolin woke with a jolt and sat up right in the bed. He was unsure for a moment where he was, it all came back to him when he saw Korra snuggled up under the sheets. He relaxed a little and drank in how peaceful she looked, lost in a dream world. He carefully moved himself from the bed, he had never had to worry about waking another person up before but, he made his way from her room with minimal noise. The wall clock read four in the morning and Bolin didn't feel like going back into Korra's room to sleep again; he was sure she would go all Avatar State on him
Borra: Stay: Pt 5"Korra!" Bolin screeched as his head broke the water. Korra laughed, "You couldn't even let me take my shoes off could you?" Bolin asked slightly annoyed and throwing up his shoes to a near by rock, hoping they would dry by the time he'd need them again. "So why swimming? You were crying like 10 minutes ago." Bolin was afraid she was just trying to hide her feelings. He couldn't blame her because it was the same thing that he did but, he wanted her to be able to talk to him like she had always been. "Can I show you?" she asked, still swimming circles around him on her back. "Yeah, sure." Bolin told her not too sure what there was t
Borra: Surprise Visit: Pt 4Warning! Super long chapter. Sorry about that but, reading it is so worth it! I promise! :) "Officer!" Lin said sharply to Bolin when he and Korra arrived, "Just where is your uniform?" Bolin rubbed the back of his neck, he knew how important the uniform was but, it was what he had to do! "At the bottom of the Bay, Chief!" he responded in a voice Korra was sure she hadn't heard come out of him ever before. "And what is it doing there exactly?" her voice was still strict but was laced with concern. "The ferry was taken over by Equalists, Lin. We fought most of them off but we had to get out of there! I thought swimming would have
Borra: Surprise Visit: Pt 3 Korra stood and watch Bolin leave until he was completely out of sight, "You and Bolin, why did I not see that before?" someone said off in the shadows. Korra turned around to see it was Iroh walking towards her. "What are you talking about? Bolin, he's just a real good friend. He's looked out for me ever since the day I met him." she said trying to defend herself. "Yeah but, you told me a while ago how much you had been missing the city. Why didn't you tell me you missed a person in the city?" "I missed a lot of people! I missed Tenzin and his family, Lin, Asami, and Bolin." "Okay, but, you didn't treat any of them the way you jus
Borra: Surprise Visit: Pt 2 Bolin told Korra he would explain everything to her on the way back to Republic City. Korra rushed around her hotel room, grabbing things out of the bathroom and shoving them into her bag, she normally didn't unpack a lot of things so this part didn't take too long. She gave a quick call to Mako and explained what was going on. He told her he would meet them at the air field. "It is good to see you both." General Iroh said standing next to Mako. "General." Bolin said and smiled at his old friend. "It's good to see you." Korra said hugging him. "Shall we go so we can explain?" he asked and guided everyone to the blimp that awaited t
Borra: Surprise VisitThe group has taken Amon down but, Korra realizes her duties as the Avatar now more than ever. The group splits up for sometime. But, they will never know when a friend comes calling. Amon had been taken down thanks to Korra and the help of her friends. Bending had been restored to everyone who had lost it, thanks to Korra being able to contact Avatar Aang and learn about unblocking chakras. Peace was flowing through out Republic City once more and everything was as it should have been. But, things quickly change in a fast pace city and being the Avatar doesn't help anything Korra learned. She realized just how much she was needed in the
Borra: Old Habits: Pt 2 I shuffled my feet a little where I stood, realizing this is the first time I had talked to her alone, like totally alone, since that one day in the gym after practice. I looked up to see her walking to a bench that looked over the Bay, "Join me?" she asked. We sat quietly for a few minutes, I couldn't think of anything to say to get the conversation started, "So, how is your training with Lin coming along?" she asked me. I looked around quickly and then I noticed we were sitting on a bench with metal legs. I lifted my hand slightly and bent the legs causing Korra to slide down to my side of the bench. She slid against my side with a l
Borra: Old HabitsThis is meant to go in between season one and two. Just some one sided Borra(Bolin) feels about everything that has happened. I also feel the need to throw General Iroh in the mix. :) I was the good brother, much like I had been my whole life. I told my brother I was happy for him when he told me about his new relationship with Korra. I smiled and laughed when we all hung out together. I kept up a really good act for everyone to see. Asami started to confide in me a lot and I did the same with her. She was really the only one who saw through me to my true feelings. We talked about everything, she confessed just how much my brother meant
Borra: Your Future: Pt 3 Korra had roughly a mere moment to react for after that moment, Bolin would move away to a more comfortable distance and the chance would have escaped her. Bolin couldn't think, she was so close to him. He thought about acting as if he slipped and accidentally kissed her but, Korra was too smart for that. When he finished his thought he figured the moment had pasted yet, she was still right there, looking right at him. To hell with it, Korra's mind screamed at her, it's fate Korra! She moved her chin upward just a tad and met his warm lips. Bolin crashed hard onto her; he never thought he would get this chance and he was sure he wouldn
Borra: Your Future: Pt 2 "I suppose walking up to them and telling them what we found out is out of the question?" Asami through out there. Korra stopped for a second and exaggerated herself, "So, Mako. I found out I'm in love with your brother, even though I didn't know it like a half hour ago. And by the way, you should never have broke up with Asami, you two were meant to be." she started walking again, "Yeah, I don't think that'd work out so well." Asami laughed at her, "You know we can't just ignore these things though, right?" "But, I can't think of a way to just break up with Mako right now. And, I think I need sometime to figure out these feelings fo
Borra: Your FutureThis is a little something for my friend, lonegraywolf106. The prompt was: Asami takes Korra to a popluar fortuneteller in the city who is said to be able to predict who your true love is. I got the idea from TLA's aunt wu haha but anyways and this could take place after the finale and mako and korra are dating and while the fortune teller is talking about korra's true love and she will think that she is refering to mako until the fortune teller mentions bolin. For asami it could be about mako.. I changed it just a tad but I hope it still holds up. Girls Day was in full swing. Asami had been dragging Korra around all day to do different t
Borra: Stay: Pt 4 "I knew you wanted her but really? This is just low, Bolin!" Mako spat at his brother. Bolin who was now standing between Korra and Mako turned to face her, "Can you give us a minute? I think this is something we need to handle ourselves." she nodded and walked into her room shutting the door behind her. Bolin then turned back to Mako, "Alright, take a seat." he said pointing at a kitchen chair. "Since when does my little brother tell me what to do?" Mako asked crossing his arms. "Since he became more mature than his older brother. Now, sit or we can handle this a different way down at the arena." Mako knew he was too hung ove
Borra: Stay: pt 3 Korra stirred in her sleep, she stretched her legs out and quickly sat up when she realized she was no longer on the couch with Bolin. She thought he had to leave sometime in the middle of the night, moved her into her room and then left. She rolled over and saw the picture of her and Mako that she kept on the dresser across the room, blasting a jet of air, the picture smacked into the wall before falling to the floor. What pain she felt last night for their break up had been replaced by anger. Her bedroom door creaked open, "Korra?" Bolin asked his head peaking into the room. After noticing it was just him, Korra flopped on her back an
Borra: Stay: Pt 2Well, my first part to this went rather well so I thought I'd add another. Hope you all enjoy. Bolin waited for Korra out on the couch as she gathered up some pillows and a blanket for him. She walked back out into the living room in her over-sized Fire Ferrets shirt and a pair of shorts, arms filled pilled so high she could hardly see. "Do you want some help?" he laughed as she stubbled around. "No, nope. I'm good." she threw the things on top of him and then walked into the kitchen. "You want anything to eat? Did you eat? How about drink? I know you drank but I don't think I have anything alcoholic right now. How about water? Tea? H
Borra: StayDue to today episode, I have come to find that Makorra is most likely going to happen butttttt this doesn't mean they wont have problems... :) AND YES! There is some drinking/drunkness in here so if you don't want to read that then well, here is your warning. Korra was now 20 and the world was once more at peace with itself. No more earth shattering problems to deal with, she was finally able to live out her life with out the Avatar label running it for her. Clearly, she still had some duties she had to fill, sit at council meetings, take care of the some punks running the streets but, other than that, life for Korra was going well. Or so i
